Email Agent of Ben Fogle

Ben Fogle is a host, speaker and adventurer. He is a TV presenter, writer and former Royal Navy reservist. Ben rowed across the Atlantic in 2006 with James Cracknell. His incredible 50 day adventure was documented on BBC1 and BBC2 and the book ‘The Crossing’ became a best seller soon after. To follow on from this, Ben again teamed up with James in 2009 to compete in the race to the South Pole.

Ben originally shot to fame when was chosen as one of the volunteers by the BBC to spend the year 2000 marooned on the uninhabited, Outer Hebridean Island of Taransay. This was part of the great millennium experiment Castaway 2000.   He then became a roving correspondent for a glossy magazine, taking him all over the World.

From 2001 Ben Fogle was as a regular presenter alongside John Craven and Michaela Strachen on BBC 1’s Countryfile. He later re-joined the programme in 2014. More TV work arrived and he went on to co-present BBC 1’s Animal Park with Kate Humble.
He became the UN’s Patron of the Wilderness and decided to climb Mount Everest in 2018. He did this with his friend and Olympic cyclist, Victoria Pendleton. Unfortunately, Ben had to go it alone after Victoria became unwell due to the effects of extreme altitude. The whole adventure was filmed for TV in order to highlight environmental issues.

Ben has presented numerous other TV projects. Since 2000 he has starred and appeared in at least 38 TV programmes with never a year going by without Ben being on our screens. He is also a prolific writer with over 10 books so far published, not to mention his Mr Dog children’s series.

Ben returned to Taransay in 2021 as part of a BBC documentary, Scotland’s Sacred Islands.

In 2022 Ben was again on our screens. This time for ITV with ‘Falklands War: The forgotten Battle. Ben looks into the very first days of the Falklands War.  This was when the only resistance to the invasion was a small detachment of 60 plus Royal Marines (Naval Party 8901). They were stationed on the islands when the invasion began. Largely forgotten, Ben tells their story with interviews and footage of what really happened.

Channel 5’s Ben Fogel and the Lost City is another programme for 2022. Ben travels to Slab City in the deserts of California to talk to the freedom seeking community that lives there.
