Bruce Fummey was named UK Speaker of the Year in 2001, he was also named Scottish Comedian of the Year in 2014. Bruce has been entertaining audiences during and since.  In recent years Bruce put his vast knowledge of Scottish history to good use when he also became a Scottish Tour Guide.

Informed by his multicultural background and his obvious girth, Bruce Fummey has been making people laugh since an early age.

He has a cheeky and vivacious comedy style which has been appreciated by comedy audiences in the UK and also internationally. Bruce has performed at comedy festivals, comedy clubs and Burns suppers in Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Jordan. He also recited in Oman, Kuwait, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hungary and even parts of Fife.

Bruce is a regular feature of the Edinburgh Fringe including five star and sell out shows. He has also performed at festivals as far afield as Adelaide, Perth, Dunedin and Melbourne.

Bruce Fummey has carried out all roles in Burns Suppers all over the world, from a poignant Immortal Memory to an hilarious Toast Tae The Lassies. Also one of the most impressive Tam O’Shanter performances you’ve ever seen.

Since his five star sell out run of the stand up show About Tam O’Shanter at the Edinburgh fringe, Bruce has been in demand all over the world. He has performed to the biggest Burns Supper in the world here in Scotland. He has also performed for Scottish societies all over the Middle East, Asia and more.
