BBC Radio & TV Presenter, Host of the BBC 1Xtra Breakfast Show & Author

Fee Mak is a BBC Radio/TV Presenter and Host from London. She is the host of the BBC Radio 1Xtra Breakfast show on Sunday’s, 7-11am.

As a host, Fee has presented a variety of live events in arts, media and sport. These included the Red Bull BC One UK Cypher, BBC Share Your Story, MOBOs for BBC 1Xtra and Earl’s Court International Film Festival. She also did live in-game hosting for London Spirit at The Hundred.

Business & Languages:
Fee Mak has a BA in Business Administration and French which she studied for at the University of Kent. She chose business at a time where she didn’t know what to do with her life but recognised that business is everything and it is everywhere. When it came to her studies, Fee enjoyed learning about the operational side of business but also psychology and HR topics. As part of her BA, Fee’s year abroad was taken in Switzerland. This was a transformative experience in both business and in developing her French.

Music & Arts:
Fee Mak 3aFee has had a strong passion for music and the arts from a young age. At the age of 8, she was a junior associate at The Royal Ballet School as well as a ballet girl on the Westend musical, Billy Elliot at 10 years old.

Fee is an avid reader and literature champion. Whilst studying for her degree in Business in 2018, Fee set herself a challenge to read at least 1 book a month and to share the review on her Instagram. Since then, Fee has shared many titles on her Insta stories and has recently setup her own book review page on IG titled High Shelf Esteem – https://www.instagram.com/highshelfesteem/.

Fee is also set to host author talks this year at a number of book festivals. These include Chiswick, Queens Park, Petworth Festival and the Herts Book Festival.

During her time in ballet, Fee has had many competitive performances. She danced at Her Majesties Theatre and also the Royal Opera House. Likewise, Fee expresses her creativity through fine art and was invited to showcase her art work at an exhibition in London.

During Fee Mak’s career in broadcast, she has presented at and hosted a variety of interviews on an array of platforms. These include BBC 1Xtra, KISS TV and 4Music. Some of the established acts and performers interviewed by Fee include comedian and broadcaster Kojo Anim and music artists Akon. Also, Beenie Man and Tion Wayne, plus actresses Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton.
