Email Agent of Dominic Holland

Dominic Holland is Spiderman’s dad. It’s true, how amazing is that? He is also a very funny comedian and awards host with an amazing pedigree (he used to work with Bob Monkhouse). However, you will have to go back 30 years to see where Dominic Holland first shone as is one of the funniest comedians in the business.

As with many of the biggest comedy names, it was the Edinburgh Fringe where Dominic first won the Perrier award for Best Newcomer.

That was in 1993. Believe it or not, back then Eddie Izzard was his manager and a year later he was the support act on Eddie’s nationwide tour.

Brushing with the stars seemed to be a regular occurrence with Dominic Holland. His first TV appearance (also in 1993) was with Harry Hill.

Dominic was a great friend and work colleague of the late Bob Monkhouse. He would write material for Bob and Bob referred to Dominic as “Britain’s funniest not yet famous comedian”. Dominic introduced Bob on his very last recorded gig in 2003 in a pub basement in London. Bob thanked Dominic for the introduction saying, out of all the introductions in his life, this was his most recent. Bob had been suffering from prostate cancer and died in December that same year.

You may have seen Dominic on Have I Got News For You which he has appeared twice. He was also a team captain on a game show hosted by Graham Norton. Dominic has been a guest on The Clive James Show and Never Mind The Buzzcocks and in 2000 he did a spot on a Royal Variety Performance. Not sure if we should mention it but he also did a turn on The Des O’Conner Show and worked with Richard and Judy on their show.

Yes, Dom has his own website where he sells all his books. You can also listen to his podcast, Dominic Holland Takes on Life. And leaving the best till last, you can join Dom’s Patreon which gives exclusive content access. You can even ask him questions. It’s all here at www.dominichollandbooks.com

Radio has also been a huge part of Dominic Holland’s comedy career going back over thirty years. He has been on numerous programmes, many he both wrote and performed on.
