Former Scotland & Great Britain Water Polo Internationalist, Eurpoean Championships Competitor & Commonwealth Games Medalist

Keith Anderson is an after dinner speaker from Scotland who has been regularly entertaining audiences across the country for the past 25yrs.  Born in Edinburgh, and growing up in the seaside town of Portobello, (Edinburghs’ very own Bondi beach for those who don’t like the sun), meant he was never far from the water.

A lifelong member of Portobello ASC he played water polo from a very young age.  He is a former Scotland and Great Britain water polo internationalist with over 300 caps, has played at 3 European Championships, a bronze medalist at the 2014 Commonwealth Tournament, British Championship winner, and Water Polo player of the year on 5 occasions.  When not swimming or playing water polo himself, he is teaching swimming. 

The director of Scotland’s largest independent learn-to-swim company his claim to fame being to teach any adult to swim, no matter how scared, within 2hrs,…….and by using a bowl of water.  Yes, 2hrs, and a bowl of water (and that isn’t a joke!).

Playing Water Polo obviously means Keith is used to performing in front of small crowds……but he is equally at ease in front of any number of people.  His quickfire jokes and one liners make for a highly entertaining evening, perfect for after dinner entertainment.
