Comedian, Supported  Ricky Gervais, Harry Hill & Jason Manford On Tour, Selected for Just The Tonic’s Big Value Showcase in Edinburgh & Runner-Up of Leicester Mercury’s Comedian of the Year

Matt Bragg has something in common with a number of top named comedians in the UK. He supported Ricky Gervais on tour. Also, Harry Hill, Jason Manford and the fabulous Suzi Ruffell. They all saw something in Matt to have him as their warm up support on tour.

We saw traces of Jack Dee, Jo Brand and a little bit of Tony Hancock (remember him?). Also, he does look a little bit like he’d just stepped out of a Paul Weller, mod lookalike competition.

Matt Bragg is a hilarious, deadpan comedian who is winning a huge amount of fans all over the UK.

Edinburgh Fringe:
2023 sees Matt returning to the Edinburgh Fringe. He will be performing twenty two shows with fellow comedians Gary Webster and Mary Bourke. Later on the same evenings, Matt then performs in the Big Value Comedy Show. This is a show he first appeared in, back in 2019.

You would have to go back to 2016 to find out when Matt Bragg first started performing comedy in the UK’s Comedy stores and clubs. That was seven years ago and we think it wont be too long now, before he hits the UK’s mainstream comedy scene and becomes a comedy face on our TV screens.

Comedy Clubs:
A regular at clubs including Glee, Just The Tonic, The Frog and Bucket and also The Comedy Store. In 2020 Matt was nominated for, and finished runner up of Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year. He was then selected for Just The Tonic’s Big Value Showcase in Edinburgh.

Matt’s writing credits include work for BT Sport and also Dara O Briain’s Mock The Week.

In 2023 Matt was selected to perform on the Live Nation ‘Comedy Stop’ European Tour.
