Comedian, Actor, Played Dr. Guy Secretan in ‘Green Wing’, Regular Guest on ‘Would I Lie To You’ & Author of ‘Escape The Rooms’
Stephen Mangan is probably best know for his part as Dr. Guy Secretan in the TV comedy series Green Wing, a character who was voted 34th in Channel 4’s The World’s Greatest Comedy Characters. Stephen was also seen on BBC2, in Douglas Adams’s holistic detective drama series, Dirk Gently.

He is also a regular and popular panellist on some of TV’s top comedy quiz shows and to date has appeared on Never Mind The Buzzcocks and Would I Lie To You. 2011 saw Stephen first host Have I Got News For You in series 41. That same year he was back in series 42 and he is now been back a further 11 times. Other shows Stephen has guested on include, Celebrity Mastermind, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and also Pointless where he was co-host.
In 2023 Stephen joined up with Joe Lycett for a festive episode of Richard Ayoade’s Travel Man. They spent 96 hours in Rio de Janeiro. Next was Celebrity Gogglebox in 2023 where Stephen appeared with his sister Anita.
His voice has been used in countless TV shows. In 2023 he narrated the 30 and 40 Years of Laughter documentaries.

He is also a prolific writer, Stephen is also very well known for being the author of a number of Children’s books which are Illustrated by his sister. His first one Escape The Rooms was published in 2021
