Nina Schick is widely regarded as one of the world’s foremost voices on artificial intelligence, particularly in the areas of geopolitics, power and technological change. Internationally recognised for her work on the societal impact of generative AI, Nina has advised global leaders and major organisations on the political and economic implications of artificial intelligence. Her advisory work has included senior political figures and international organisations, and she currently serves on the AI Advisory Council of Qlik. She has also advised leading technology companies including Synthesia, known for AI video generation, and Truepic, a company specialising in digital content authentication, reflecting her focus on digital trust, transparency and the future of media.
Before becoming a leading voice in AI, Nina built her career in politics, policy and data. She worked as Communications Director for Open Europe and was involved in major political campaigns including the UK’s Brexit referendum. She later advised the Alliance of Democracies Foundation on how AI is transforming politics and democracy, and worked as Director of Data and Polling at Rasmussen Global, providing strategic advice on political risk. She also contributed to the creation of the Democracy Perception Index while working with Dalia Research, one of the world’s largest studies on public attitudes towards democracy.
Nina is also the author of DEEPFAKES: The Coming Infocalypse, widely recognised as the first book on generative AI and synthetic media. She is a frequent media commentator and has been featured in major publications including MIT Technology Review, WIRED and TIME. As a keynote speaker, she has worked with organisations such as Adobe, Google, PwC and Workday, and spoken at major global events including Web Summit and TEDx. Her work focuses on how AI will transform business, politics and society, and what leadership looks like in the AI age.
