Paul Davis is The Garden Warrior. He is one of the country’s leading gardeners who has worked on award-winning gardens in London and for many exclusive, high-end clients including billionaires, sheikhs, lords and ladies.
Referred to as ‘The Jamie Oliver of gardening’ for his easy manner, quick-witted charm and ‘keep-it-simple’ approach. Paul Davis is a highly popular figure in the gardening world of London and the South East. He combines extensive experience and knowledge with a lovable, caring personality and more than a hint of cockney charm.
Paul cut his gardening teeth in the 90’s after spending his early working years as an engineer. He changed direction and decided he was going to follow his grandfather’s footsteps in the horticultural world. Paul then packed himself off to the world-famous Capel Manor Gardens in North London. This is where he passed his Royal Horticultural Society exams with flying colours. He was working and collaborating with other students that went on to be Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winners.
A major change followed when Paul went on to work in central London for the next 25 years. He was looking after some of the capitals most beautiful gardens. With a roster of A-List clients Paul began to teach students in Chelsea and Kensington for Groundwork London – one of the UK’s leading environmental charities.
Paul David is now working with his wealthy clients around the borders of London in Essex, Suffolk and Cambridge. He gives lectures and talks at various stately homes and venues across London and the South East. Paul’s main interest beside gardening is helping people who suffer with mental health illness and depression. Especially young people and the new generation as he advocates the positive power of being with nature and the benefits that gardening brings.
In 2021 Paul appeared on Channel5’s the Jeremy Vine show to discuss the art of Topiary.
