Leading Comedian Performing at The Edinburgh Fringe Show & Co-Host of The ‘Mike & Vittorio’s Guide To Parenting’ Podcast

Vittorio Angelone is a comedian who wants to be on TV’s Taskmaster. We’ll that’s what he said at his latest Edinburgh Fringe show where we saw him performing, “Who Do You Think You Are? I am!”.  Yes, Vittorio agrees, it’s an “insanely dumb” title. His explanation of where it came from is revealed in his show. He secured a video from the originator of the saying, Pete Webber who was a US champion ten pin bowler. At the end of his show Vittorio plays a video of Pete promoting the show.

A comedian with a name like Vittorio Angelone might make you think, he’s Italian. That’s definitely not the case. Vittorio himself admits, his command of the language at best, is in naming various types of Italian pastas with his favourite one looking to be Rigatoni.  His father is Italian but Vittorio is actually from Belfast and is now based in London.

Sticking with the Edinburgh Fringe, in 2022 Vittorio Angelone not only sold out his one man show, he was also proposed for the Dave Comedy Awards Best Newcomer.

He’s also a big football fan and he talks about this in his comedy routine, about wearing his Italy colours at Wembley and speaking pasta names at the English fans who approached him.

Vittorio has a podcast with fellow Irish comedian Mike Rice. It’s called Mike & Vittorio’s Guide To Parenting currently being broadcast weekly.

So, is Vittorio going to hit television big time? Taskmaster take note, we think so. However, not being on TV does make Vittorio an excellent choice for any budget strapped corporate awards, he’s great fun.
