Email Agent of Vivien Creegor

Vivien Creegor began her very successful career at the BBC. Starting as a secretary, she rose through the ranks to become a Production Assistant at BBC Radio Drama, and an abridger for Radio 4s legendary A Book at Bedtime. This was before joining the presentation and news reading team, firstly in radio and then in television, both on BBC1 and BBC2.

Apart from news and current affairs, she also fronted, together with Mike Smith, a travel and transport leisure series. It was called Transit and went out live on BBC 2.  This was followed by a 20 part series called The Small Business Programme for BBC Midlands.

She was then head hunted to join the multi award winning Sky News where she spent the next 15 years. Vivien  was one of their anchor newsreaders, conducting daily interviews with world leaders, specialist commentators and showbiz personalities. At Sky, she and one of her co-presenters, Laurie Mayer, fronted Sky’s high profile extensive coverage of the infamous O.J.Simpson murder trial. She also presented Sky Ones book programme. On subjects as diverse as mine clearance and female slave trafficking,

Vivien Creegor filmed 2 documentaries for Sky News in Cambodia and China.

Vivien Creegor has been a regular travel writer for the Mail on Sunday, reviewing many different types of long haul holidays around the world. These include the United States, India, Canada, China, Thailand, South Africa, South America and Australia. Vivien has worked for many years with the United Nations and is one of only a few British women broadcasters to be asked to chair UN Conferences which often include very large audiences, live satellite links and interviews via interpreters. The first of these was for the World Health Organisation in Geneva in the 1990s.

At the UN’s 4th World Conference on Women in Beijing, where there were more than 5,000 delegates, Vivien hosted sessions. The speakers included Hillary Clinton, Benazir Bhutto and Jane Fonda. More recently, before the unrest began in Egypt, she facilitated an audience with the world’s press in Cairo’s main sports stadium for Gamal Mubarak, son of the former President, Hosni Mubarak.

In 2006 after leaving Sky, Viviene took up a whole new acting career in theatre and stage.

WHAT VIVIEN CAN DO FOR YOU:
In the words of Coutts Bank, Off stage she is flexible, listens hard to the brief and absorbs all the information and feedback. On stage she has a lovely tone and manner, the ability to set speakers at ease, yet put them under pressure and creates a real bond with the audience. I’ll be looking for an excuse to use her again as soon as possible!

Vivien can bring a truly professional touch to your meeting or conference however small or large it is. The experience that a skilled television presenter/host/facilitator can bring to your event should not be under estimated. Vivien is always conscious of the clock ticking, and can bring guest speakers in on time as well as ensuring smooth links into and out of every contribution. Despite the often serious subjects Vivien has to deal with, she retains a great sense of humour and natural wit.

PUBLICATIONS:
Vivien has written many amusing and informative articles for publications such as The Evening Standard. She is also a regular celebrity travel reporter for The Mail on Sunday.
