Roz Savage is an ocean rower, adventurer, environmentalist, and Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for South Cotswolds. She made history as the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, covering more than 15,000 miles in a 23-foot boat while facing storms, solitude, and relentless challenges. Credentials and Impact

Roz began her professional career as a management consultant at Accenture before moving to CHP Consulting, where she further developed her analytical and leadership skills. She later became an IT Project Manager at UBS, managing large-scale financial systems. After leaving the corporate world, Roz pursued her creative passions as a professional photographer, demonstrating a willingness to reinvent herself and follow new directions.

She then served as Sponsorship and Fundraising Manager for the Thomas Seigler Andean Research Expedition, gaining first-hand experience in resource mobilisation for ambitious international projects. This role proved a stepping stone toward her own record-breaking adventures.

Between 2006 and 2011, Roz became the first woman to row solo across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans, achievements that earned her National Geographic’s Adventurer of the Year in 2010 and an MBE in 2012 for services to environmental awareness and fundraising. She was also appointed a United Nations Climate Hero, became a Yale World Fellow, and was named a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.

Continuing her advocacy, Roz became Evangelist for SEEDS, a regenerative economy initiative promoting ecological and social resilience. In 2024, she entered Parliament as a Liberal Democrat MP for South Cotswolds, where she now applies her global outlook to national leadership.
