Andrew D Scott’s passion for the hospitality and catering industry stems from when he fell in love with the sights, smells, commotions and emotions of the kitchen as a humble kitchen porter aged just 13. He went on to earn his stripes over the next 15 years, working at hotels, restaurants, pubs, bistros and bars across Europe.
By 2003, Andrew realised he had enough entrepreneurial spirit, business savvy, ambition and all-round general sass to go it alone. So he took the plunge into self-employment and opened a small café. A further 15 years down the line, he now owns and operates a number of award-winning catering companies.

While hard work and flair have reaped many rewards, Andrew Scott has had his fair share of challenges and disappointments along the way. One of his ventures pushed him right to the edge, both financially and emotionally, but Andrew is no quitter and has instead used this experience to achieve success elsewhere.
So, duly armed with this invaluable knowledge, skill and expertise, Andrew set up Victus Catering and Hospitality Consultancy in 2014 to help, support & guide both new and well established businesses.
Andrew’s reputation has grown quickly, and his natural charm, irreverent humour, quick wit and “heart on sleeve” approach and ability to tell a great story means he’s now in demand as a motivational speaker, host, presenter, compere and auctioneer throughout the country. So, when not running his own business or consulting for others, Andrew can be found travelling the length and breadth of the UK supporting expos, conferences, workshops and training days. He even manages to fit in a spot of TV and radio work!

Andrew now hosts at a wide variety of events from hosting Assist FM’s two day conference in Glasgow to hosting the annual IFE trade fair at Excel in London which was attended by over thirty thousand visitors over the four day period.
