Anne McAlpine is a host,  facilitator and broadcaster with over 12 years experience in the industry. She started her media career with an independent production company producing various sports, music and entertainment documentaries for BBC ALBA.

Anne is most recognisable for her work at BBC Scotland as a news anchor and weather presenter for the flagship news programme Reporting Scotland. She is also one of the main presenters on Scotland’s rural affairs programme Landward.

Anne has travelled extensively with her work on the award winning Gaelic programme Eòrpa. This has taken her all over Europe – From Chernobyl in Ukraine to the jungle camp full of migrants in France. This led to Anne having considerable reporting experience. She has been seen on many social, cultural and political programmes both in Scotland and abroad.

Anne has lots of live tv experience. She presented BBC ALBA’s live coverage of Scotland’s Women’s first ever World Cup campaign in France.
