BBC Presenter of ‘Landward’, Host of Radio Scotland’s ‘Out Of Doors’ Show & Hosted the RSPB Nature of Scotland Awards

Euan Mcilwraith is one of the BBC’s most experienced presenters. From covering the horrific civil war in Rwanda to being kidnapped at gunpoint in Somalia and being stuck underground in a cave in Norway Euan has had a varied career to say the least.

A long stint at the Natural History Unit saw Euan Mcilwraith broadcast from over fifty countries around the world. He also hosted spring-watch, winter watch and autumn watch on the red button service.

More recent highlights saw Euan anchor the UK section of the big world dawn chorus which reached an audience of six hundred million listeners around the globe.

As well as broadcasting Euan Mcilwraith is in demand for hosting award ceremonies. A recent one was the RSPB’s nature of Scotland awards. He teamed up with Chris Packam and Kate Humble to present an informed and entertaining evening.
