Fraser Doherty MBE is a Scottish entrepreneur. He was initially known to many as ‘Jam Boy’. Fraser started his incredible business career at the age of just fourteen. He came up with a way of making jam 100% from fruit. This was after being taught how to make jam in his Grandmother’s kitchen. At sixteen, Fraser Doherty presented his brand, SuperJam, to Waitrose. SuperJam has since grown into a company that has sold millions upon millions of jars. He did this through supermarkets around the world. As well as being a commercial success, the business has also invested in successful charitable projects. Fraser started running hundreds of free tea parties for the elderly. He also set up hundreds of community beekeeping projects.
Fraser has been commended by the Prime Minister at Downing Street, by HRH Prince Charles and was awarded an MBE “for services to business” by The Queen.
He has shared his incredible story at more than 500+ conferences. This has also been in 27 countries around the world. As well as in his best-selling books SuperBusiness – published in UK, US, Australia, Korea and Japan. His second book was 48 Hour Startup. Published in the UK in 2016 in the UK, US, Netherlands and Korea. The SuperJam Cookbook was published in 2010. SuperJam also ended up being exhibited in the National Museum of Scotland as an ‘Iconic Scottish Brand’. Fraser Doherty has won over 20 innovation awards and has been the subject of several TV documentaries.
Fraser is also the co-founder of Beer52. Now the world’s largest craft beer club. It was named by the FT as one of Europe’s fastest-growing startup companies. With almost 200,000 monthly subscribers, the company also produces the world’s No. 1 craft beer magazine, Ferment. Beer52 Import beer from a new country every month. They have visited breweries in South Africa, California plus North and South Korea. Also, not to mention, all over Europe.
In 2022 Beer52.com was named the 69th fastest growing company in the UK by the Sunday Times 100.
