Dr Jon Finn was born in West Yorkshire. He studied in Manchester and also in Leeds. He works internationally but mainly in the City of London and the US. His career began in sports psychology where he worked with world-class coaches, teams and athletes.

One of his proudest achievements was being part of the team (in a sport psychology capacity) that won the English League One football title. He did this by spending 50% less on player wages than their rivals. This also set a record for the most league points gained with the smallest budget in UK professional football.

Dr Jon Finn has also worked for the Professional Golfers Association. During this time, he developed the ‘Pre-Shot’ Training system. This helped professional players perform under pressure and demystified the challenging mental aspect of the game.
