Julia Hartley-Brewer is Talk TV‘s morning presenter on politics and current affairs. She is also known for guesting on numerous TV and Radio shows. These include Have I Got News For You and BBC’s Question Time.
Known for her political commentary, Julia is also a regular guest on such TV shows as This Morning, Sunday Politics and BBC’s The One Show. In 2014 she appeared in Alexander Armstrong’s Pointless Celebrities in which she was the winner.
Back in the 90’s Julia went to Cardiff University where she gained a journalist diploma. She already had a degree in politics so it wasn’t long before she started working with the Press. Based in London, Julia Hartley-Brewer started at the London Advertiser in the borough of Tower Hamlets. Not long after and with her knowledge of politics, she became a correspondent for the Evening Standard.
The Guardian was next but it was during Julia’s time (11 years) with the Sunday Express that saw her being picked up by the BBC to narrate and present on 2 political documentary programmes. LBC Radio was to follow, where Julia spent three plus years broadcasting to the nation.
Julia Hartley-Brewer joined Talk TV in 2016, starting with her mid morning show on weekdays, before moving to the breakfast slot. It was now named ‘The Julia Hartley-Brewer Show’. The show is now regularly cast live to YouTube .
Julia still writes articles and newspaper columns on current affairs and politics and has made quite a name for herself as an after dinner speaker, which she excels at.
