More recently, Linford has remained engaged in developing youth athletics through initiatives such as Street Athletics, and he played a coaching and mentoring role with the British athletics team at the Paris 2024 Olympics. He also holds the position of director at Big Up Productions Limited.

Linford has shared his story and expertise through books such as his autobiography, “Linford Christie: To Be Honest”, which offered insight into his early career, training, and personal journey. He has written further articles on athletics and performance, contributing to sports commentary and debate. Beyond print, Christie has presented BBC programmes including Record Breakers and Garden Invaders, and made his acting debut in the long-running drama Grange Hill.
