Award-Winning Yorkshire Comedian & Writer, Performed TV Stand-Up at Live at The Apollo, Co-Host of ‘That’s A First’ Podcast & Won the UK’s So You Think You’re Funny Competition

Maisie Adam is a Yorkshire comedian and comedy writer. She has appeared on episodes of 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock the Week, QI and Have I Got News for You. Maisie has also appeared on Would I Lie To You?, Richard Osman’s House of Games and The Last Leg. However, it was in 2016 when Maisie Adam made her first TV appearance. She was a contestant in Bradley Walsh’s TV quiz show, The Chase. Unfortunately, she was eventually knocked out by the chaser Paul (The Sinnerman) Sinha.

Having performed TV Stand-up on Live at The Apollo, Maisie was nominated a Best Newcomer in 2018. Prior to that, Maisie had won the UK’s So You Think You’re Funny competition in 2017. In the competition’s 30 year history, Maisie Adam was the 4th female ever to have won this award.

Maisie Adam also writes comedy. Having written for Buzzcocks and a couple of episodes of Rob Beckett’s Savage Socials.

Touring:
Her first UK tour ‘Hang Fire’ was in 2019 and in 2022 she sold out her latest tour, Buzzed. Extra dates were added for 2023 running till the end of March that year. 2025 saw Maisie start her next tour “Appraisal” in Europe, taking in Amsterdam Copenhagen and Oslo. She continues the tour in the UK with another 25 dates between February and April in Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales.

PODCAST:
Maisie Adam joined up with fellow comic Tom Lucy to produce their hit podcast That’s A First. Between December 2019 and 2021 they produced thirty one episodes with numerous guests. The guests included, Helen Bauer, Joel Dommett, Jack Whitehall and football’s Chris Kamara.
