You don’t have to go too far back to find out where it all started for Mark Simmons. It took a friend to suggest he do an open mic spot after which, there was no turning back. In 2008 Mark had progressed to such an extent he joined fellow comedian Seann Walsh as the support act on Seann’s tour.
Afterwards Mark supported comedians Rob Brydon and Rob Beckett and he’s even been in Melbourne at the Comedy Festival with a number of other comedians from the Edinburgh Fringe, promoting the Festival in Australia.

Dara Ó Briain’s Mock The Week was the perfect comedy platform for Mark Simmons. He first appeared on the show in 2019 on series 18. The following year Mark was back for series 19.
With his social media engagement going through the roof, in 2022 Mark won the Comic’s Comic Award. He also has a Podcast called Jokes with Mark Simmons which you can listen to on Apple Podcasts.
