ITN Sports Broadcaster, Former ITV Sports Broadcaster, Presented UEFA Champions League Highlights & The Premiership Parliament
Matt Smith is a sports broadcaster currently working with the former BT Sport channel, now called TNT Sport. Previously he worked with ITV.
Initially showing a great deal of promise with the BBC, working on Football Fever, World Snooker and covering such international events as the Sydney Olympics and Euro 2000, Matt moved to ITV in the Summer of 2001.
In his first couple of years at ITV Matt proved himself an irreplaceable part of the ITV sports team, regularly presenting On The Ball, The Premiership Parliament and UEFA Champions League highlights.
During the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Korea/Japan, Matt hosted a panel-based show featuring debate and World Cup highlights every evening during the tournament.
Matt presented highlights of The Championship on Sunday mornings on ITV1 and ITV2’s UEFA Champions League nights.
Born in Liverpool in 1967, Matt now lives in London. He is a superb Host, MC and Awards Presenter.
