Rhona McLeod is a host and one of Scotland’s most recognisable broadcasters. She spent over two decades working as a presenter and reporter for BBC Scotland.

Rhona’s television presenting and reporting credits include Reporting Scotland news and sport, Children in Need, The Adventure Show, Sport Nation, The Scottish Rally Championship, Blair Horse Trials and the Great Scottish Run.  Rhona produced and presented the documentaries Gambian Goals, and Philippa York – An Uphill Climb.

An enthusiastic and highly professional events host, Rhona has extensive experience of working on big occasions. These include British Olympic and Scottish Commonwealth Games Athlete Parades post Games successes. Other clients include Visit Scotland, EventScotland, The Scottish FA. Charitable events include Reach Scotland, The Beatson Cancer Charity, Glasgow Life, Cycling Scotland and PAHA Scotland (Physical Activity and Health Alliance).

An outdoors enthusiast, Rhona is happiest walking beaches, skiing, riding trails or climbing hills. Rhona is married to Bruce. He is another sports professional. They have two sporty daughters.

As a former international athlete and current UKA athletics coach, Rhona volunteers with her local athletics club Central AC.
