Stephen K Amos is a comedian and host who is very popular at corporate awards and dinners.

The Edinburgh Fringe is known for launching the TV careers of many of the UK’s highest profile stand up comedians. Stephen K Amos was no exception. Bursting on to the Fringe stage in 2003, he has appeared every year since.

With his brilliant observational comedy and political satire, Stephen soon made a name for himself. It was not long before he had his UK TV debut. He also took his comedy to Australia and New Zealand. Awards started arriving, not only for his comedy but he had now emerged as a superb host and compere which the comedy web site Chortle nominated him three times. There was also a BAFTA nomination for his documentary on homophobia in the UK black community and Jamaica.

It was 2007 when Stephen K Amos was invited to perform at the Royal Variety Show. This was an honour very few comedians have received.

These days you will see Stephen crop up in all sorts of TV and Radio programmes from Children In Need, Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week and The Great British Bake Off, to Soccer AM, Sports Relief and Live At The Apollo which he has also hosted. His radio work for the BBC is prolific to say the least.

Stephen regularly tours at home and abroad and finally managed to get his UK tour ‘Before & Laughter‘ back on the road in 2021. This was after a long delay caused by the pandemic in 2020. In February 2022, he then took the tour over to Australia to perform 36 nights. 2023 and 2024 saw Stephen embark on his UK wide, Oxymoron tour.
