Tom Bradby is a journalist and the main news anchor on ITV’s News at Ten. Prior to this Tom was ITV News’ Political Editor, a position he held for a decade. Tom joined ITN as an Editorial Trainee in 1990 and has been successively; Ireland Correspondent and Political Correspondent. ITN made him Asia Correspondent and unfortunately Tom was shot and seriously wounded in Jakarta. Next was Royal Correspondent and then he was UK Editor.
Tom is also the presenter of the current affairs show The Agenda on ITV, which has just completed its seventh series and last year Tom Bradby presented ITV’s General Election Night Programme.
Tom is an acclaimed novelist and screenwriter. His first novel, Shadow Dancer was turned into a critically acclaimed film, directed by Oscar winner James Marsh and starring Clive Owen, Gillian Anderson and Andrea Riseborough. Tom wrote the script which received a nomination for Screenplay of the Year at the Evening Standard Film Awards.
He has written five further novels. The Master of Rain was nominated for the CWA Thriller of the Year award. The White Russian and The God of Chaos were also nominated for the Historical Novel of the Year award. He has written a number of other screenplays including The Great Fire, a four part drama for ITV.
Tom Bradby journalist is also a superb and extremely witty after dinner speaker, a knowledgeable and experienced presenter who is perfect for topical and large-scale corporate events. Tom is a popular awards host, conference chair, compère and facilitator.
