Mark Martin is an accomplished radio presenter, freelance event host, content creator and DJ, widely recognised for his engaging broadcasting style and strong connection with live audiences. Currently the afternoon show presenter on Edinburgh’s Edge 2, Mark continues to build on a career spanning more than two decades in Scottish media. Known for his versatility across radio, live events and sports presentation, he has become a trusted voice both on-air and on stage. Mark’s career began in radio in 2002, when he started presenting shows on Forth 1, where he spent six years hosting evening programmes. He went on to work across Clyde 1 in Clydebank and the wider Bauer Scotland Network, gaining valuable experience across regional broadcasting. During this time, he also hosted the Scottish Chart show, ‘The Hot 20‘, for three years and regularly deputised across the network. In January 2015, Mark was promoted to Home Run presenter for Forth 1, hosting weekday afternoon shows across Edinburgh, The Lothians and Fife, alongside a Sunday programme, before concluding this role in 2017. Alongside his broadcasting career, he spent four years as an advertising sales executive at Heart of Midlothian FC.

In addition to his radio achievements, Mark has built a strong portfolio across television and voice work. He regularly presented the primary school TV strand Choices for Life and has completed a wide range of voiceover projects.
