Email Agent of Jake Humphrey

Jake Humphrey began his broadcasting career as a runner at Norwich based Rapture TV before progressing to researcher and eventually presenter after being encouraged to create a showreel. His first major presenting role came with TWI, where he hosted a live daily sports programme before joining CBBC. During six successful years with the broadcaster, Jake became a familiar face on programmes including ‘Sportsround’, ‘Newsround’, ‘Rule the School’, ‘BAMZOOKi’, ‘The Saturday Show’, ‘Against All Odds’, ‘Wonderful World of Weird’ and ‘Gimme A Break’. Covering major international sporting events including the Commonwealth Games, FIFA World Cup, Winter Olympics and Cricket World Cup from around the globe helped him develop the adaptability, communication skills and confidence that have become central to his work as a broadcaster and speaker.

Jake joined BBC Sport as a reporter before quickly progressing to present ‘Football Focus’, ‘Final Score’ and ‘Match of the Day’. At just 30 years old, he became the youngest presenter to host all three flagship BBC Sport football programmes. His growing reputation led to him co-hosting the BBC’s ‘Sports Personality of the Year’ alongside Sue Barker and Gary Lineker, while he also fronted coverage of the Beijing Olympic Games, Euro 2008, the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the Africa Cup of Nations, the Super Bowl, FA Cup Finals, the Flora London Marathon and numerous other major sporting events. His ability to lead live broadcasts from around the world under pressure established him as one of Britain’s most respected sports presenters.

Alongside his television work, Jake has built an impressive career as a writer and thought leader. He has written for the BBC Formula 1 website, ‘Match of the Day’ magazine, ‘Kick!’ magazine and the ‘Metro’ newspaper during the Beijing Olympics. More recently, he co-authored the bestselling book ‘Micro Habits: Tiny Changes That Supercharge High Performance’ with Damian Hughes, exploring the small daily behaviours that underpin sustained success and started the ‘High Performance’ podcast with him. Through this work, alongside his digital content and interviews with world leading performers, Jake has become recognised for translating elite performance into practical lessons for business audiences.

Jake’s extensive broadcasting career, experience interviewing world class athletes, coaches and business leaders, and expertise in high performance make him one of the UK’s most engaging speakers. Combining compelling storytelling with practical leadership insights, he shares lessons on resilience, teamwork, communication and continuous improvement that audiences can immediately apply within their own organisations. Whether speaking at leadership conferences, corporate events or business summits, Jake delivers engaging presentations that inspire individuals and teams to perform at their very best.
